I wanted to hit some quick points here on federal issues.
It’s been a week or two since that congressman took the oath of office on the Koran and I could care less. Half those guys take their hand directly from an intern’s ass to the bible and then recite the, “I promise to spend shitloads of money on crap we don’t need” oath. I could care less what book they use as long as they don't surprise me and start acting like resonsible adults.
The minimum wage hike passed the house. That’s like getting through the phone screen test for Jeopardy, you’re still a long way from the big show. Those lazy octogenarians in the House of Lords may bring this to a vote sometime before August recess baring any spontaneous shuffleboard tournaments slowing them down in th process. If you're some poor schmuck making minimum, don’t go out and buy that Ferrari just yet because we’re only in the first verse of the “How a Bill Becomes Law” song.
Also, all of you “are we better off today?” idiots didn't notice that oil is dropping and the market skyrocketing. Too bad you have double the ass and half the brain and didn’t fight for privatizing social security. Your check may have grown by as much as 50% by now. But hey, you’re willing to put politics in front of your wallet and I respect your constant fight to remain poor. The good news is that American companies are hiring at an alarming rate so if you haven’t got a stick up your ass about Wal-Mart because you are a democrat, then you can go be a greeter or a buggy fetcher.
Obama is now being actively stalked by the media and there’s nothing he can do about it. Their desire for answers will only lead to anger and dirt digging. When you spend 12 weeks on a story and the guy gives you nothing, you tend to want to go ask his old girlfriends about him. That never goes well for a candidate. A frustrated media will eventually turn on their little “projects,” which could be fatal for Mr. Obama.
