Election Hangover

I'm all blogged out right now.  I don't have anything to write about at all.

I have heard a few false things the past few days I can clarify here.

1.  Pat Haggerty never lost to straight ticket voting because he never had opponents.  He also never had to run against a democratic opponent during such a hyped election.  Pretending Haggerty won hard fought reelection battles is intellectually dishonest.

2.  Obama's effective tax rate will be the same as Clinton's.  Wrong!  It will be 45 percent.  Get ready to start hiding money.

3.  Foster/Regency is signing the deal with the city without the county's part of the deal because they didn't need the money.  Wrong.  They had to sign the deal or it would die.  They hope the new commissioner's court will not have their heads in their respective asses.
