Lilly vs. Ness - The Whisper Heard 'Round El Paso

I'm waiting for some bad news at the doctor's office, so I decided to pass the time checking the headlines from my phone. I had no idea that some bullshit anonymous tip would garner so much media attention!?!?

Coming up we will talk about Ness' claim that she won't turn Lilly in. We will also examine the open records request and how you can identify who is pulling Ness' strings by the words she put in her list. And we'll talk about voter fatigue and how rampant corruption and corruption claims have made everyone guilty as charged by the baseless claims of other candidates, bloogers and commentors.

All that and more this afternoon... or tonight... or I might just forget all of this and move on to guns on campus.

You are so right about the corruption. My question is why this person is going after Lily so bad? Is there something that we don't know about? What type of evidence does this person have? What is she getting out of it? And why if she is so sure that Lily is being corrupt, why isn't she pressing charges?

Tony Pearson is Lily's former admin. He started when she first was elected to council in 2005. He got in trouble for using his city issued credit card for non-city purchases. Long story short - he was fired. He's got an axe to grind. It's beyond belief that he says he would work for Lyda as her admin if she wins. Do you think he has a chance in hell of getting a contract position after misuse of a govt issued credit card?!?!? I know people have opinions on Ann Lilly's tenure on council, but I don't believe Ann Lilly has a corrupt bone in her body - she's just not the type and certainly doesn't need the money.
