You may have heard that District 8 candidate, Ernesto Villanueva got the endorsement of WoPAC - the Womens Political Action Committee for those of you scoring at home. WoPAC is a very liberal operation and they showed that they aren't just into girl power when it comes to who they endorse.
I wonder if they saw these pictures taken very recently at Mr. Villanueva's birthday bash.
Looks like this might be how he salutes everyone!
Oh My God! Villanueva just lost my support. I was impressed with his speaking ability when I saw this guy at the GERW forum. I thought he'd do a good job balancing the wealthy upper valley and the poverty in the 2nd Ward. He is sharpe and bilingual ... BUT he's obviously not mature. I don't want a City Councilor who can't control himself at his own birthday party. Let this guy age ten years and come back and try again! Give me a break!

What!? This is soo sad! I even thought this kid had a bright future. I didn't plan on voting for him but he seemed nice enough.

Who cares? Really!?! This is silly.

Don't know him but it's his Birthday for God's sake!!!!

Are you joking? This can't be the candidate. Did you Photoshop this? I am embarrassed that this joke wants to represent our city. You need to talk about the real concerns like this instead of the she said / she said BS.

Wow, he still a whole hell of a lot better than Gilbert Sanchez and we voted his unsavory actions into office TWICE>?

Yes this is me in those pictures, there no sense in denying it and I am mature enough to take responsibility for them. You are correct Mr. K it was my birthday and I celebrated with my co-workers here...in my home. As you can see I am a UTEP fan and yes I do get along with my friends with a particular type of sense of humor seen in my hand gestures. I am here to inform everyone that because I chose to celebrate my birthday with some of closest friends, in what I thought was the privacy of my own home, I can assure you does not take away from what needs to be done here in El Paso. I will sit down and discuss this get-together in detail or we can take the time and talk about the issues that face our community, the reason that market variables don't affect valuations in El Paso or why 64% of the city general fund comes form home owners. I will never back away or hide from issues here, including this one...so reach out and I will gladly sit and talk with you! It was a miscalculation on the behalf of friends who don't know the world of politics, and one that I forgave instantly! El Paso has real problems Ladies and Gentleman and I don't think this is one of them. If you do, I am right here, ready and willing to discuss it.

I don't agree with Mr. Villanueva's politics one bit, but I think it's unfair to judge this man on a few photos of him flipping the bird and chugging a few beers on his bday. Many politicians have done much worse and still are well respected by loony liberals. Let's not forget that President Obama admitted to snorting cocaine during college, or Vice President Biden's "this is a big fucking deal" comment to the President when the public was watching, or former chief of staff Rahm Emmanuel's godfather-like threats to politicians he disagrees with (he mailed someone a dead fish btw). Personally, I like a guy who is ready to flip the bird at a moments notice, at least he's a stand up guy, not like some of these local politicians that act like they walk on water yet lay down with pigs.

If you think that's bad, wait 'till I release the pics of "The Bird Man" mooning his relatives at his grandmother's funeral. But "seriously," I am truly disgusted, dismayed, and outraged that ANY decent human being would dare to.....drink Bud Light. I'll pass the hat around so you can purchase some real beer.

The first picture at the top doesn't look like the "privacy of my own home". Looks like a bar to me.

Chucky,
Babs Perez has it and was shopping it to local media outlets a few years back. Their answer - who is David K and why should we care?

Obviously these photos were taken by someone attending his birthday party. I assume if they were invited to the party they are friendly with him. What is that old saying - "with friends like these..."

Bwahahahahahha, too juicy NOT to post.

Here's to wacky senses of humor everywhere. If these were taken at a private function among friends then I don't see a problem. That having been said, this is exactly the kind of thing that can come back to bite you when running for office or seeking employment. Think twice before hitting "send".
