David Crowder has done it again - uncovered what needed to be uncovered for the sake of transparency. Unfortunately for Lyda Ness, it's another punch to the gut.

It seems as if Ness' late pay on her TEC fine has riled the attorney general up and they are going to sue her for the amount she owes under the TEC finding from nearly three years ago.
Ness had the nerve to point fingers at Lilly for TEC violations when she herself was not only found to be guilty of breaking the rules, but had not done what was asked of her to right the situation.
What a Mess. Read the article - it's all there. It's about time a little justice found its way into this race.
By the way - the nonexistent criminal record for Lilly stems from an incident where a young man was physically intimidating Lilly (she was in her 60s at the time) and both parties called the cops. Lyda knows the story, but can't quite bring herself to try and convince people that a nearly 70 year-old woman beat up a 40 year-old man. Some lies are just too hard to tell - even for Lyda.

Wait til the 40 year old man describes the story ... It involves the whole Lilly clan! If the guy comes forward, Lilly should be concerned. It's to bad she used her influence to get it all covered up. Like all of these skeletons (on both candidates), they keep haunting them. Live a good Christian life, one your mother would be proud of, and there will be nothing to hang you head in shame about.

Been a while since I checked in on your partisan little site, Dave.
And I have to confess that I have no idea who either of these women are.
I just wanted to ask, why you spend just about every entry talking about this Ness lady when it all looks kinda petty to me.
Why don't you just come out on record and say what it is you hate so much about this woman? I certainly can't tell by reading your little blog....which is, why, I suppose, your traffic has gone WAY down since last I checked.

I still think taxes are the last thing we should judge a person on, judge a person on if they are true to their mate or support their children, our convuloted tax code turns us all into schemers and loophole larrys.

I get Ness's campaign emails almost daily. I guess because she had my email address from many years ago when I was a client of hers. I almost asked them to take me off their email list but decided not to so I could continue reading the trash she puts out.

Carl, you are an idiot. You live in a tent in the desert and don't pay taxes so what the hell do you care? Not paying your taxes IS a very serious thing. To those of us who do as we are supposed to, it is a slap in the face.
