El Paso's pint sized tyrant, Emma Acosta is reportedly not going to be named "Mayor Pro Tempore" again this cycle. In the best way I can put it, the other elected folks on the 10th floor are tired of her shit.
Apparently, Acosta has showered neighborhood associations with thousands upon thousands of emails flaunting herMayor Pro Tempore status in an effort to drill into their heads that she should be the next mayor of El Paso. These neighborhood associations have seen right through her efforts and complained to their respective council members.
Losing the Pro Tempore tag right before she was gearing up to run for mayor is devastating to her already doomed cause. I seriously doubt if she can win her seat back much less mayor.
To say that she's a little pissed off is to misidentify the level of anger spewing out from our favorite Ewok-sized council member. Word on the street is she's ready to declare war on everybody and every issue. She wants to be mayor and she'll do it at your expense. Beware...
Maybe if she wasn't off to Asia all the time on non-profit boondoggles she would have been reconsidered for the post.
I was happy to hear you think Acosta is on the way out... but can we really be sure???

Has nothing to do with her trips, other than her POWER trip. She is rude and as that gentleman so elegantly put it, ARROGANT! Thank God she was not elected Mayor Pro Tempore again. Big mistake last time.
