This Iranian terror plot isn't standing up to the questions being asked by people from around the globe - people with knowledge of how state sponsored assassinations work. Looks like the Obama camp has been caught red handed wagging the dog.
This was one of about 50 articles that came out today basically calling bullshit on the terror plot. I'm no expert, so I'll not embarass myself by pretending to know whether or not hiring a used car salesmen from Texas to hire Mexican cartel members to blow up a guy in a DC restaurant - a guy who travels with security detail that rivals the President's - is a viable plan of action for a government like Iran's.
Some people say this terror plot thing came to light to take attention away from surging republican candidates. Other say it was done to mask the Wall Street protest. Yet, others say it was to take attention away from Attorney General Eric Holder's gun running fiasco. I'm not really sure because there are about 80 things the president needs to hid right now and the last thing he needs here is the international press calling bullshit on the terror plot.
I really hope this won't be used as an excuse to engage Iran in a war.
Your thoughts?
I think Pinochet was behind the 1st successful foregin official assisination on usa soil in 1975 in a DC car bomb.

I'm with DavidK's theory of wag the dog. Holder is in the hot seat for Fast and Furious and he so desperately needs someone to change the conversation. After reading the details of this "plot" it's something out of Monty Python. Iran is a problem - but I don't think they are that stupid.

I actually posted this theory on Facebook yesterday as a joke and to draw out the conspiracy theory lovers.
If Iran wanted to conduct such an assassination they have plenty of suicide volunteers in Hamas etc and such people are probably already here in the US.

When one of the speakers at the press conference calls it "right out of a bad Hollywood movie script", you know something is up.
