That is the most negative, one-sided "opinion" piece I've ever read. I disagree on most everything Blaugrand says. He's still upset that he isn't part of the big boy club and his bitterness shows. More people like him and we'll see El Paso stall and go backwards again.

Found his guest column very interesting.
In addition, certainly agree with this statement: "Before taxpayers spend $123 million or more to build an arena of questionable need, a genuine public dialogue on revitalization might be a better investment of time and resources. Five years have been wasted on an unrealistic scheme that lacked transparency and failed to deliver as promised."
