I told you Larry Medina was a piece of shit. None of you believed me. A bunch of you protected him like he was a saint. Turns out he's a piece of shit - just like I said.
You owe me and the world an apology for promoting this guy - whether it was your radio show, a story you didn't do that I fed you (this is just for those reporters who ignored me for years) or just telling a friend or neighbor that Larry was okay. He was not.
Again - I told reporters in El Paso for years about Larry's corruption and they all told me "Larry's a good guy, why are you picking on him?" I was right and you guys were wrong for falling in love with someone you were supposed to be reporting on.
Almost every architect and engineer in the city leaped with joy upon hearing that Larry went down. The stories they have of his shenanigans make the Sunland Park mess look tame.
You have a duty to eliminate any in office today who had any connection to Larry in the past. Acosta, Cook and Holguinneed to go right now. Cook and Acosta put that criminal in a position to steal from you time and time again knowing he was under investigation for more than one crime. If they'll appoint criminals to boards, what other horrific things will they do with their powers?
And on the Acosta front - how many of her friends havenow pleaded guilty or were found guilty of felonies? The list is very long. That list will be published in the El Paso Times every single day if she even tries to run for mayor - I have the backers willing to put the paper and in mailers. If she can explain Hector Villa, Larry Medina and the rest, she can be mayor. If she can't - she'll lose in a landslide. It's about time she starts telling the truth.
And you know what - this little thing was the tip of the iceberg for Scary Larry... but it's enough I guess. I feel a lot better and that's what counts.
Why don't you either come home and make this a better place or quit lobbing bombs from DC. There were plenty of people who felt the same way about you.

Abel,
felt what way about me?
And please give me the name of the person forcing you to read this blog - I will tell them to leave you be immediately! It's a free country and nobody should be required to read a blog against their will.

The really "scary" thing about Larry Medina is he has now proven himself incompetent as a criminal and with what is likely to be a felony conviction on his record he will find his insurance license revoked. Not that he was much of an insurance "executive" anyway, but assuming the guy survivies his prison time what in the world will he do to make a living? How much can he get for those Conquistador Awards?

Someone should call the State Board of Insurance and make sure they know he pled guilty to a felony. Otherwise I bet they will never know. State agencies aren't the brightest about keeping up with convicted felons.

when will his cohorts Presi Ortega and Norma Chavez be arrested??
Posted by: proud | August 02, 2012 at 05:40 PM
Well the FBI did "raid" Presi's office when he was representing ING and was handling the city pension fund - this was about 4 years ago at least. He lost the ability to represent ING and the city pension account, laid off his employees. Now he's representing Prudential and handling the city pension fund stuff.

Hey Dave...I never faltered in letting you and Larry's bff Strelz know how Scary Larry was full of !&!$&!$ and self serving..."he whimpered and said he was soooo sad...even at the end his communication skills were still lagging. I trust his time incarcerated with men...will be...inviting...

It is envigurarting to finally see that we are moving forward and putting some of these elected criminals away.
I am willing to wager that Charlie tuna garcia sells out presi Ortega and his insurance scam !
Let's see how many of our sitting council members are named!
Posted by: Itstime | August 03, 2012 at 03:11 AM
Anyone see Emma Acosta on KVIA at 10 p.m.? She was asked about Scary Larry returning his Conquistador awards and she said that was a personal decision for him to make. She also said we should still "honor" him because of the No Smoking Ordinance and the 2% for Arts requirement. Really? Criminal activity is criminal activity and whatever "good" a person might have done is now tainted because the person chose to break the law. Carlos Cordova - EPISD Trustee - prior to pleading guilty asked EPISD to remove his name from the ES named after him. He did wrong but he did one thing right at the end - remove my name from a public building. Larry could show some class and return the Conquistador awards.

Norma mentioned again

Paul looks to be trying to be valiant from his dialysis machine. Paul your local party is splintered. What are you going to do about it. Right now, you appear to be grasping at defending Norma. I can't understand why you think your Posting is going to make a dent in the Norma comments. You two are radio personalities right? You are fair game. So is Norma. She can dish it and take it... With her "secret files" and "undercover missions". What a joke you 2 have become. I love your posts though. Reminds me of tad poles in a drying out pond.

I use my name when I post. I do not do radio anymore. I admit my mistakes when I make them. I was wrong about Garcia and realize what a crook he was. I liked larry mmedina, especially when he campaigned against no smoking in public placces. I am sorry that he turned out to be a crook. when you have friends you try to help them become better citizens.I post on my forum and don't use anything but my full name. as for SAZ, if you have abetter record of helping children than I do tell us about it. did you help me at Bowie to protect the students from the abuse of the border patrol? I tested all the students and we did damn well. what is your record?

All of this controversy about Larry Medina is making me nervous. I need a cigarette.

Paul J Strelzin
You "admit your mistakes" BS - you weedle and whine and obfusicate. While you are making your "mistakes" you are one nasty sob. Your attacks, and yes they were attacks, on Shapleig and Dan Weaver were uthless, Your little cackle of a laugh while you threw insults. And yet let anyone challenge you and you cry or yell like a baby.
Posted by: Norma's ice sculpture | August 06, 2012 at 11:04 PM
Paul Strelzin, when will you admit you were "wrong" about Gilbert Sanchez?
And how about THeresa Caballero?
Oh, and don't forget,Norma Chavez?
You'll wait until they finally go compltely postal, right? Then you'll say "sorry" to all the people they lied about?
Posted by: Happy Hangover | August 08, 2012 at 10:31 AM
Let's not forget the Strelz was an Arditti fan...I never thought I would see the day he would endorse Caballero, after all the thrashing she imposed against the Strelz. Made her day she probably framed the thread right next to her "cease and desist" suit against him.
Tell me who your friends are and I'll tell you who you are.
