Apparently our favorite sweater vest wearing Chicano was seen down at the County Courthouse getting voter disks. I would assume that means he's really going to put his name on the ballot and lose to Steve Ortega by 300 points.
I can't find where he has named a campaign treasurer so he can accept and spend money. I do hear he has the highest paid fundraiser in the history of congressional fundraisers running the show for him. You might remember that she was around during the time her uncle, Congressman Reyes, racked up a ton of ethics charges. She is in effect - the perfect El Paso campaign manager.
I can not wait to see this nit wit in action. If you think Ortega is a coconut, you haven't see anything yet. Ortega might as well be Danny Trejo standing next to this jackass.
If you got a call asking for money from Hector H. Lopez's campaign manager and want to file an ethics complaint with the state - please let me know, I can help.
I'm guessing that Hector's candidacy will be met with the same resounding "meh" as the post about his candidacy was.

Of course, Norma, Eddie "Norma's Lapdog" Holguin, and Emma Acosta will all predict that he will "awake the sleeping giant" south of the freeway, and win the seat in a landslide!

first you have to get people "south of the freeway" to vote. Their parents and grandparents vote - but the younger generation does not vote. Not enough to carry El Paso.
