I told you earlier this week that Hector H. Lopez was planning on losing to Rep. Steve Ortega by 200 points in the upcoming mayoral election. What I didn't know is that fundraising efforts for Hector H. Lopez were already taking place!
People I know are reporting that former Congressman Reyes' niece maybe soliciting money for Hector H. Lopez and putting together a campaign team. That's fine and dandy and all, but has Hector H. Lopez filed the proper paper work to be raising and spending campaign cash?
I'm sure he's on the up and up, I just can't find a record of him filing an intent for office and naming a treasurer yet. Maybe they haven't posted the document yet. That's probably it. A well put together sweater vest wearing Chicano like Hector H. Lopez wouldn't forget to file the necessary paperwork to run for office. For God sake he's an Ivy League grad!
David K, you are a white devil. Don't you know that 'rules' and 'following proper election procedures', is just code for 'wiping all Xicano influences off the face of El Paso'?
Dang, DK, stop being such a racist.

Georgetown is Ivy League?

It's rather ironic you're criticizing the "Ivy League" when Steve Ortega has the same Cate to Yankee school education (though Steve's George Washington degree isn't quite as impressive as Georgetown and Villanova) and fashion sense that Hector Hache Lopez does.
