As Max Powers has reported- Norma Chavez has escaped El Paso and is running wild in Austin. Poor, poor, poor Austin. They are running short on tacos by now I'm sure.
I hear that she went and pulled press credentials at the capitol citing her non-existent radio show as her press affiliation. I wonder how David Candelaria feels about Norma using his station's good reputation for her access to places she should not be in the capitol. I know of more than one regional news outlet that has been banned from picking up press credentials in Austin during the session for this exact scheme. I wonder how Candelaria might explain to his boss a situation where a former radio show host who wasn't even an employee, but an advertiser, gets the station's press access yanked because said advertiser is nuttier than a Payday bar.
My sources tell me that Max Powers is correct - she's camping out in the Pansexual's office and sticking her nose into her business where it doesn't belong. I hear one capital official had to tell the Pansexual that he didn't appreciate Norma's interjections and that his business was with the elected person in the office, not with the reigning "Bum Steer" award champion.
Other sources tell me that the Pansexual's open arms welcome of Norma has turned her biggest supporters (read: money) against her and that she already has an opponent for 2014. The powers that be in the place that counts (El Paso) do not want their gal hanging around the hot mess that is Norma Chavez.
Who looks more like a frog - Norma or Chente Portly Gente?
Don't feel sorry for them, DK. They'll find a use for Normita and her bloggie with cafecito. Those hippies are big on recycling old, used stuff!
