I could swear that Limon said out loud in a council meeting that she gets constituent emails about city business to her personal account all the time. She made it sound like she was getting a ton of email about city business. I thought she said this during the August 20, 2013 meetings.
Thank you to those who looked at the meeting to see if she said it - she apparently didn't say it during that meeting. However, the meetings preceding that one and meetings that took place after also had the email question as a topic.
The reason I'm looking for that quote is because I submitted an open records request looking for emails from her personal email account. She returned just three emails. You can see them below:
That kind of production doesn't match up with what I heard her say. I want to confirm I didn't hear her wrong.
I also know that the city's hands are tied when fulfilling this request. They have no way of checking ot make sure Limon really forwarded all of the emails pertaining to the city business. What she didn't forward to me will remain a mystery.
I did get a copy of her hand written notes at council:
I haven't been through them all yet. Please share anything interesting you find.
Also, I did hear that Limon and friends did have a quasi pow wow going into and coming out of executive session (and since it wasn't an executive session item for discussion, could be discussed with me) on the day that Limon axed Tripper Goodman's reappointment to a board. I hear it was in the hallway where Limon sought advice and then an impromptu meeting was held by the eventual "no" voters. Is an ethics complaint in the works?
