Any comment on Beto's campaign buying stuff for the Migrant Caravan using Campaign fund?

Curious, no such thing happened. The staff did buy about $300 worth of diapers, baby wipes and food for Annunciation House, which needed emergency help caring for 100 Central American migrants who were dumped without warning at the Greyhound bus station. Hundreds of other El Pasoans made similar donations. Using campaign funds for charitable contributions is legal. Ted Cruz has done it, and good on him for doing so. I'm not sure when sheltering and feeding people in need became a bad thing.

Fact checker = damage control

It’s not the actual deed that’s a problem it’s the way it was portrayed in the video. Volunteers and the campaign manager made it seem like it was a bad thing to do.
